Who Stole My Sister?

Dear Diary.....

Today was my friend Jace's birthday party....now he's "2" just like me!!!  His party was at an indoor kid gym and it was so much fun!!!  But as Mommy showed us the pictures last night, we were all asking.....who stole my sister, Reese?!  She was trying things she does not normally do and being very daring.  Do not get too excited.....I use the term "very daring" lightly.  Anyways, Reese was climbing on the ladder bars to the tippy top (and possibly holding on for dear life), doing little flips on the gymnastics bars, getting rolled down a tiny hill in this giant tube, and swinging on rings.  I, of course, did all of these things too.....but its very out of character for my sister and for that, Im very proud of her!  Later that night, she even rode her bike on the cement sidewalk........again, a huge step since we only ride on grass to shield any falls we might have.  Baby steps people, baby steps.......

Fun Week with Aunt Cindy!

 Dear Diary.....

What a fun week with our Aunt Cindy!!!  Mommy & Daddy had to travel for work at the same time, so there was no one here to watch us!  Grammy and Poppy couldnt come because they had to take care of the twins up north, so Daddy asked Aunt Cindy and we were so happy when we found out she said YES!  She was here for a whole 5 days and we had so much fun......she brought me to the bus stop, took Tay to school, picked me up from the bus stop, brought me to swim team practice, still had time to make us her special stuffed shells, packed me lunches, read us books, took us to the playground, and our house has never looked so clean before either!  One of our favorite things was the special after school snack she made us.....pic below!!!  She's the best....Mommy is still finding little surprises in the kitchen.....ahem, can anyone guess who organized all the cabinets?!!!!   Mommy is still trying to figure out how to thank her properly!!!

My First Trip to the Dentist

Dear Diary.....

Today I went to the dentist for the first time ever!  I heard Mommy tell Grammy she was a little worried about how I would do, but guess what.....I did awesome!  I laid down in the big chair and there was a TV screen on the ceiling playing a cartoon....which was cool, but I was way more interested in the dentist tools sitting next to me!  The dentists' helper showed them all to me and let me feel them and then let me pick out my toothpaste flavor...I picked "pink (bubblegum) of course!  She cleaned my teeth and squirted them with lots of water and used this thing that sucked all the water out of my mouth before I could even swallow it!  The dentist came and checked me for cavities, counted my teeth, and I was done!  Easy peasy!  I got a prize at the end.....and tried to take some of the cool dentist tools, but didnt get very far with those!

Labor Day at Lena's Beach House

Dear Diary.....

What a fun weekend we had at Lena's beach house!  I like her pool house, but her beach house is a shorter drive, so that makes me and Tay happy!  We got to see Uncle Jim, Uncle John, Aunt Ash, and cute, little Holli too!  The first night we got there, we all went over to have pizza at Jerry's!  This is sort of a tradition now....we always go to Jerry's the first night we arrive!  Anyways, there was a band and all of a sudden, the lead singer had me cornered in the middle of the outside courtyard and was singing to me.  I was giggling and acting shy, but really I liked it....it was so funny!  Tay was shaking her butt and then he came up to her next, but she ran and hid near Mommy!  It was such a fun night though!  The next day we hung by the beach and I learned how to boogie board and catch waves.....we really dont have those types of waves at the beaches near our house.  That night we had a BBQ at Lena's...I was excited because my friends, Hailey and Jordan, were visiting their grandpa next door, so I went over and played with them for awhile!  It rained that night, but we woke up to a sunny day!  Went to the beach again all day, then swam in the pool for awhile.  That night, we went to dinner at Inlet Harbor.....played on the big pirate ship for awhile and then went out for ice cream and then searched for ghost crabs!  Oh I almost forgot the best part of the day....Lena took me to see the sick turtles at the Marine Science Center.  This is something we always do together when I visit....so we got to see our turtle friends too!  We left the next morning, which is always sad:(  Hopefully we will get to visit their pool house next!!!
